-2011 Winner of the Prize “Excellence Woman 2011 granted by the Unione Artigiani e Piccola Industria of Belluno for “the internationally recognized results achieved by her scientific research in the field of chemiotherapeutics.

Research interests:

Her research field is at the interface between inorganic chemistry, biology and medicine, and focuses on the study of the interaction between metal complexes and biologically-relevant macromolecules, in order to develop (in collaboration with several Italian, American and European research groups) advanced metal-based therapeutic and diagnostic agents. Evaluation of biological activity and mechanism of action of new receptor-recognized anticancer compounds.
