Profilo personale: Cattaneo Alberto Maria

As a researcher I have 12 years of professional experience with expertise in molecular biology, including functional characterization of insect and mammalian receptors in heterologous cell systems, insect electrophysiology and plant biotechnologies. I have authored or co-authored 15 peer-review scientific articles and 1 book. My activities spread among molecular and cell biology, in vitro fluorimetry, in situ expression analysis, Drosophila genetics, and electrophysiology on insects, including single sensillum recording (SSR) and Gas-chromatographic GC-SSR. As a docent, I have a pedagogic formation at the Swedish University of Agricultural science, experience in teaching with both direct lessons in classroom and telematic, lab supervision, science dissemination at conferences and communication with the general public. In addition, I have long experience in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and I am trained in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
