The research activity is mainly devoted to the study of the effect of genetic, nutritional and environmental factors on the performances, physic-chemical-sensorial-functional quality of the animal products derived from rabbit, chicken, quail and other animal species included within the SSD AGR/20. The main research topic of the last four years has been the use of alternative feed ingredients for poultry and rabbit species, in the perspective to improve the sustainability of livestock farming. The scientific production consists of more tha 100 publications, including 1 PhD thesis in Animal Sciences, 1 book chapter, 56 articles in scientific journals indexed Scopus.
