Geographic Information Systems Coordinator Deforestation-free Supply Chains at AidEnvironment.

Marco coordinates the geospatial analysis of the soft-commodities supply chains, data processing, and point of contact of data providers and local partners. With his team he is involved in projects that aim to halt land use change (deforestation, degradation, fires) in tropical forests by assisting investors, companies, and civil society organizations in their decision-making linked to soft-commodity supply chains (soy, cattle, palm oil). Currently, one of the team's priorities is on monitoring the relevant commodities linked to the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), mapping all the supply chain connections between producing countries and EU operators importing those commodities into the EU markets.
