Starting from the knowledge of the effects of modern agriculture on the development of highly infective pathogen populations, the aim of the course is to integrate management practices (use of biological control agents and fungicides, selection of crops and cultural practices to reduce disease pressure, implementation of predictive models in the decision-support systems) that can improve plant health and productivity by reducing the risk of disease epidemics and the use of fungicides.
