Enrolment options

By the end of the course, students should be able to:

i) Understand the fundamental concepts of Social Network Analysis (SNA);

ii) Analyze the structure and dynamics of social networks within the context of natural resource governance;

iii) Use Gephi (free online software) to visualize and interpret social networks;

iv) identify key stakeholders, relationships, and power structures in natural resource management and/or literature review and analysis using SNA;

v) Understand how SNA can provide ad hoc indications in the governance of natural resources in order to enhance cooperation among stakeholders and facilitate conflict management.
